The Integrated Rural Development of Weaker Sections in India (WIDA)

EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT NETWORKING

Learning is a continuous phenomenon. Hence, the experience, information and knowledge on development becomes meaningless if the process of development what we learnt and what we are leaning not shared with others it does not only gives us encouragement but also sense of commitment and to understand problems in a more clearer and sharper way favorable to the poor.
The method we adopted, as it is based on a social justice approach it is questioned by the vested interested the government. Socio-political organization, the elite the rich and the affluent minority. Therefore, sharing of the experience is and interaction in mutual benefits. The project is peon minded as it does not work with a preconceived idea on development and open to change the strategies and tactics in the course of the programme implementation.

The extension programme has enabled the project staff to share their experiences with other non governmental organization (NGOs) by way of attending meetings, seminars and training.

Other staff from other organizations has also visited the project area to learn the development strategies. Visitors from national and international organizations have visited the project area. The project enjoys a special situation where almost all the staff. which is working in the programmes, has committed their life for the cause of development of the poor. Even though all the staff know they are committed their life for the cause of development of the poor. Even though all the staff know they are temporarily employed they are able to efficiently work with the people. periodic field visits, meetings among the staff are convened to update and learn from one another's experience in development.
